i have just signed up as a premium subscriber and was wondering if there was a way to access historical writing challenges (as the post just says to click on the link in the email)

I second that! Historical writing challenges would be a great addition. Is there a reason the kwizziq team are holding back on them?

We're working on much improved mechanism for the writing challenges and once that's working and released we then plan to migrate all of the historic exercises into the library so you can access them. It's taken longer than we hoped to get it right but we're nearly there...
