Which one is correct?

Tricky as South as in South Africa is actually part of the name not a geographical reference( although it kind of is at the same time) and so not an adjective that would come after the noun Africa. if it is a masculine name then J'habite au Sud Afrique or En if it is feminine

Afrique is feminine and that is why we use 'en' and not 'au'.
