How to distinguish these two situations?

Vous faites tous vos devoirs

1). You are all doing your homework (you, all of you, are doing your homeworks, not a single person doing other things) --> tous works on vous

2). You are doing all your homeworks (and not missing any homework from any subject) --> tous works on devoirs

Hi Me,

Orally, the 'tous' of the first example would sound the -s at the end of the word.

It would be silent in the second one.

But in written form, I would probably put a comma after the tous in the first example to clarify meaning.
