If you want to say you walked here, as opposed to walked there would you say je suis venu à pied?

This question relates to:French lesson "Expressing "to walk" with se promener/promener/marcher/aller à pied in French"

Hi Jean,
Makes sense to me to assume a male, otherwise, Je suis venue à pied.
Or Je suis arrivé (male) or arrivée (female) à pied.
Both are outside of the lesson, however.
