Il/elle s'agit

The antecedent of the pronoun here is "la cryptomonnaie" — should the pronoun not therefore be "elle"?

Adrian,

The verb is ‘s’agir’ as indicated to use in the lesson. This is the impersonal, invariable expression ‘ il s’agit de (qqc) ‘.

I had written a longer answer but lost it accidentally and my typing is just too slow to redo it !

Hopefully, the following link to a YouTube by Johan Tekfak will suffice to explain adequately, as it more than covers what I had written anyway. (It is in comprehensible French )

Larousse link also included.
