Is this phrase, Il ne me reste plus que, a commonly used expression? Please explain its usage.

Hi Tom,
yes it sounds quite natural, and I guess it would be used where we would say "I only have .... left" - e.g.: il ne me reste plus que trois, I only have three left - or il ne me reste que toi, I only have you left!
