Why does this use Charles LE sept and not Charles sept?.. following the link, we get Louis quatorze and Elizabeth deux.

Hi Mark,
I have looked at the text in question and listened to the audio and cannot find a LE before sept which would be incorrect...

Salut Mark, I think you may be hearing the second part of Charles and confusing that with the unnecessary 'le'.
