Les enfants croient tout ce qu'on dit

Why is there no "en" or "à" in this sentence ?

This is a good question.

You could have an à after croire in this example but it isn't required which is very odd.

Les enfants croient tout ce qu'on dit Children believe everything they are told as true

Je ne le crois pas = I don't believe him (you don't believe he is telling the truth)

"Les enfants croient tout ce qu'on dit"  --> Children believe all that one says (or we say).

There is no requirement for "en" nor "à"    --  Does this explain to your satisfaction?
