Lui vs Lui-même

Question

In the example above 'Oh là là. Il aime vraiment parler de lui !' why is there no même after lui?  Also the 'Je n'aime que moi ?' why no même ?

'Oh là là. Il aime vraiment parler de lui !'  --> Oh dear! He really likes to talk about himself.
To talk about --> parler de
parler de lui --> to speak about oneself, where lui in this case is not an indirect pronoun but a stressed (tonic) pronoun, the object of the preposition de.
There is no need to include the "lui-même" pronoun in either case.    Je n'aime que moi --> I love only myself 
Again, moi is a stressed (tonic) pronoun where n'aime que means "only like" by restricting the verb aimer with "n'aime que"

Many thanks Jim, that helps.  I got confused because the subject of the lesson is about adding même and then these two examples don't without any explanation as to why - or perhaps I need to re-visit the basics! So it's because he is talking of/about himself.  If he was talking to himself then it would be 'Il aime vraiment parler à lui-même' ?  Also, what if he was saying 'He really likes to talk of/about him' ie a third person - what would be the distinction?
