Music vocabulary : Additional expressions

In the fill-in-the-blanks piece associated with the music vocabulary, reference was made to « faire un carton » - to be a hit, so I looked into what the opposite of this would be and « faire un bide » - to be a flop. Useful vocabulary to add to the list ?

Hi Anita, 

These very useful expressions meaning to be a great success or a great failure are not just for music. You could use them talking about the launch of a film, a book, or a campaign so not really appropriate for a specific music vocabulary list.
