Hi Tom,

You wouldn’t use ‘offrir’ in the context of sweets but if your grand-mère bought you something more substantial you might say -

Ma grand-mère m’a offert une jolie montre = My grand mother has bought me a lovely watch

"She used to buy us sweets" would use the verb acheter. If you said "Elle nous offrait des bonbons" it would be more like "She used to give us sweets."

I made only one mistake on this text , by writing les miettes instead of des miettes and my score was 59 out of 65
