parce que je ne peux pas manger de salade sans pain

I can hardly hear the "ne" in this sentence.

Is the "ne" sound sometimes dropped in real spoken French?

In current everyday familiar spoken French, dropping the 'ne' altogether is very (even very, very) common.

Bonjour Nil,

I listened to the audio file. 'ne' is pronounced. However it is indeed pronounced as a French person would talk, very very quickly and not in the most discernible way. As Maarten explained it is sometimes 'dropped' entirely in familiar spoken French.

Bonne journée!
