For the passe simple of "luire", I used "luisit" and was marked wrong. When I went back to the lesson, however, at the bottom of the page, it appears to me to say that form of conjugation is considered correct.
Both spellings are accepted as correct answers in the kwiz as per the lesson content. If the issue persists, report the issue via the 'Report an issue' button on your Correction board.
I hope this is helpful.
Bonne journée !
These are the passé simple conjugations that I understand for Luire
But there may be more than one set of conjugations for this particular verb -- "Bescherelle"?
Hope this helps.
Hi Anne, you are correct: there are indeed two versions to conjugate luire in passé simple, and either "luit" or "luisit" is correct. This should be reflected in the lesson and corresponding kwizes.
