"pendant que" avec le subjonctif?
This question relates to:French lesson "Quand/pendant que + future tense (Le Futur Simple) - not the present tense = When/while I do something in the future (Sequence of Tenses in French)
"

Bonjour Patrick,
In French, "pendant que" is always followed by tenses in L'Indicatif and not in Le Subjonctif: it expresses a fact / a reality / a truth. Therefore, you cannot have Le Subjonctif here.
Je mange pendant que tu laves la vaisselle. = I am eating while you are doing the dishes.
J'ai lu mon livre pendant que tu parlais au téléphone. = I read my book while you were chatting on the phone.
I hope this is helpful.
Bonne journée !
