I can see that you took our sorter test and that's a great first step. I would advise you to focus on the A0 and A1 lessons (and the micro-kwiz included in each lesson). You could also take another level test in your Dashboard (Choose your own adventure): choose the level A0 and A1 and take it from there and your Studyplan will update accordingly.

From my personal experience, it takes time and dedication to make great strides when learning a foreign language. It won't happen overnight ;-). I am bilingual and I have lived in the UK for about fifteen years now. However, I still stumble upon new expressions and I learn everyday still.
