Hi Earl,

Both 'suivre' and 'prendre' are accepted but please note that it is 'des cours/des leçons' in French as in the singular it means just  one lesson.

Hope this helps!

There are always several ways to skin a cat. In French, depending on context, one could say:

suivre un cours,
prendre des leçons,
faire des études,
s’inscrire à un cours.

prendre un cours vs suivre un cours

would suivre be a better verb then prendre when referring to lessons or a course ?
