When you write:
In this case, tous is always pronounced [toos], to differentiate it from tout (everything)!
--do you mean in both of the following cases?
1. as pronouns to replace a pre-mentioned noun
2. as compliments to an existing plural subject
This question relates to:French lesson "Tout, tous, toute, toutes = Everything, all (of them), the whole"
