Puis-je Prends?
Hello, when asking for food, is it more correct to say 'puis- je prends" rather than puis-je avoir? Thanks
This question relates to:French lesson "Conjugate prendre and derivatives (+avoir) in the compound past in French (Le Passé Composé)"

Bonjour,
Both prendre and avoir are acceptable, but note they need to be in the infinitive:
Puis-je prendre, Puis-je avoir.

With respect to Puis-je prendre and food/etc, would it be better to say Puis-j'en prendre? Or is 'some' implied in this expression?
