Punctuation in dictation.

The short answer is, you can’t know the punctuation for sure. It’s probably better just to view the corrections as a learning aid and not get too exercised by them. French punctuation rules differ from English ones and seem to be applied more assiduously. Personally, when listening to the excerpt at the beginning, I jot down the last word of each sentence to work out where the full stops are.
