question on example with "se faire dorer la pilule"

Is this translation a mistake?  It says this means to sunbathe, but the dictionary says it is to sugarcoat...?  Merci!

Hi Lisa,

Yes,

'se faire dorer la pilule' is slang for to sunbathe, meaning 'se faire bronzer'.

There is another expression -

'dorer la pilule' which is to sugarcoat, to embellish, to flatter

Hope this helps!
