Repeating the subject of a sentence with a single pronoun

"Ma copine Julie et moi nous adorons voyager..."

Is there a rule for when to repeat a compound subject (Julie et moi) with a single pronoun (nous)? It seems that sometimes you do it and sometimes you don't. Thanks!

Hi Peter,

Actually, both options are given as possibilities with the 'nous' and without.

It is simply a stylistic preference or used for extra emphasis but not in this case.

Bonne Continuation!

Are you intending to use the verb adorer in a pronominal sense?

By writing "Ma copine et moi nous adorons voyager" suggests Nous nous etc.
