returning to the question

Question

Due to my stupidity I missed marking one of my answers but one cannot go back to and answer.  Could this be changed.  Thank you.

Thank you for your comment! 
For writing or dictation exercises, the system is set so that you cannot move on to the next page/part of the exercise unless you've marked your own answer (for writing exercises) or been corrected by Kwizbot and marked yourself (dictation exercises). Also, if you stop working on an exercise partway through, the system recalls where you left off. Finally, if you finish the exercise, you definitely cannot go back either.
So, I am not quite sure how you could have missed marking one of your answers to then been sent to the next page as it should not be possible.

This happens to me often, too. I really don't know how, but I must hit the enter button by mistake, because even before I can write a complete answer, it will skip forward to the next page.

I do hope that there is some way to fix this.

Thank you for your answer to this question. I understand how the system is set up, but this happened to me twice the other day, even before I was able to write a complete answer, (or even anything at all), in the answer space. Which is why I thought maybe I had hit enter by mistake?

Anyway, it's frustrating and when it happens my score is lowered. But since it's a self-graded lesson, I just try to focus on learning and not let it bother me too much.

Bonjour Hilary,
Based on our testing of dictation/writing exercises, if you do click "enter" (that you've completed or not your answer), Kwizbot sees it as if you're submitting your answer. So, please be very careful when typing your answer.

Celine,I think it happens when I go to use the apostrophe button and click Enter instead, the adjacent key on the board. I'm usually concentrating on the lesson rather than my typing at that point so I'm not sure, but will try to pay more attention in the future!Merci beaucoup et Bonne Journee !Hilary
