Running up stairs
This question relates to:French lesson "Conjugate courir in the present tense in French (Le Présent)"
Asked 5 years ago

Hi John,
I would say 'courir dans les escaliers' is how you would describe what children do when they are messing about on the stairs , to say to run down the stairs you would have to say -
Descendre les escaliers en courant
and you could use
'monter ....' to say running up the stairs.
Hope this helps!
