Roy,

if you are questioning a specific example, can you indicate which one?

All the uses of ‘ savoir ‘ here are correct. However, there may be some in which ‘ connaître ‘ could be used instead, as even though both verbs have ‘ restrictions ‘ on usage, there is overlap in some situations and the choice is not always exclusive.

As Jim notes, this lesson is specific to ‘ savoir ‘, which has an irregular subjunctive ‘ stem ‘.

On the other hand, the subjunctive form of connaître, is ‘ regular ‘ - it is formed from the 3rd person plural ‘ stem ‘. It  doesn’t get its own separate lesson for conjugation in the subjunctive form - ‘ pour autant que je sache ‘ or ‘ à ma connaissance ‘.

Salut Roy,

Why connaître, when the link is all about savoir?

Please explain, otherwise:-
