I was surprised by the first sentence  "Pâques est la deuxième fête la plus célébrée en France, après Noël." because it seems like deuxième describes fête rather than la plus célébrée. 

Could a sentence like "Pâques est la fête la deuxieme plus célébrée en France, après Noël" work?

Oh okay....It didn't register in my brain as a superlative because it's the "second most"...thanks
