Google Translate has 'envoûtant' instead of 'fascinantes' as translation for 'mesmerising' - and Word reference seems to agree. Is this an OK substitute?

Ses vidéos sont absolument fascinantes
This question relates to:French writing exercise "Chocolatier Amaury Guichon"

Hi Rick,
After due consideration, we have decided that 'envoûtant' wouldn't be appropriate here.
It means 'bewitching' and is just too strong in that context.
You might say it of a smile , a perfume , a voice, a person perhaps -
un sourire envoûtant
un parfum envoûtant
une femme envoûtante
une voix envoûtante
un orateur envoûtant
