Salut! Would “trop” be accepted instead of “si” in the sentences. I used it in both the sentences in the passage but they were corrected to “si”. Is there a difference? Thank you

I think you are referring to the casual use of 'trop' for 'si' in everyday street language as in -
trop bien! = so so good
Trop relou ! (= Trop lourd) = It sucks!
Trop in this sense means so so much but as its real meaning is 'too much' it cannot be accepted in this context.
