So if I'm from Chicago Illinois in the United States I would say "J'habite à Chicago, dans l'Illinois, aux États Unis."?
This question relates to:French lesson "J'habite à [city] = I live in [city]"

I would say 'dans l'Illinois' sounds really nice, it's a bit like 'dans le Yorkshire' here in England...
