"Je veux rien" marked as incorrect on the test.I understand it's not the strictly proper, dictionary-perfect way to say that, but it's valid and there was no indication in the way the question was phrased that it was specifically the ne construction I was expected to use -- and nothing else.
Since the lesson is about using 'ne --- rien' it would be a bit odd to accept ' Je veux rien' even if is accepted in everyday speech, don't you think?
