I needed to Google ‘Roland Garros’ to find out that it was the name of what I’m sure most of us know as The French Open. I thought it must be a player so answered accordingly. Thank you for accepting my answer even though it was incorrect!
'Roland Garros' is indeed what the rest of the world refers to as 'The French Open', in the tennis world and it refers to the place where the tournament takes place but it is named after a real person -
I also remember Peugeot bringing out some lovely Roland Garros edition models.
Bonne lecture !
