To use ne or not to use ne in everyday conversation.

Hi, as I understand, the use of 'ne' in everyday 'street French' is gradually being omitted. Could you please clarify to what extent 'ne' is still used in this context.

Omitting ne from the negation is considered a lower register, bordering on slang. Despite this, one often hears: je sais pas.
