Translation of landscape gardener
Bonjour Frank,
There is a big difference between a jardinier paysagiste and an architecte paysagiste -
Paysagiste / jardinier paysagiste — a landscape gardener, focused on the practical creation and maintenance of gardens and green spaces.
Architecte paysagiste — a qualified professional who designs outdoor spaces at a larger scale. They typically hold a university-level degree and work on projects such as parks, urban green spaces, motorway corridors, ecological restoration, housing developments, and public spaces. It's closer to a design and planning profession than a hands-on gardening one.
Bonne Continuation !
