Hi Rebecca,
I find this very tricky. "Elle me rappelle Paula"
The conjugation above tells us that this is third-person singular.
So it looks to me that the analysis has "Elle" as the subject "Paula" as the direct object of the verb and "me" as the indirect object.
So your proposal to have "me" as a stressed pronoun cannot work given that "me" is the indirect object pronoun.
Let's see if a staff expert agrees with my reasoning.
