Use of il form

Why is 'rejoint ' used in the question: Qui te rejoint...? or  'vient' in Qui Vient manger?  Can any other conjugation of the verb be used? 

This question relates to:French lesson "Qui/Qui est-ce qui [conjugated verb] ? = Who ... ? (French Questions)"

Hi Andrea, 

In the two sentences, you mention -

'Qui' meaning 'who' is the subject of the verb and it takes the third person singular.
