Is it equally correct to say “Je me suis lavé LA tête” and “J’ai lavé MA tête”?

Bonjour Nancy,

Both expressions are grammatically correct but quite unusual with "tête". You would tend to hear more:

J'ai lavé mes cheveux = I washed my hair

Je me suis lavé le visage = I washed my face
