To say around (something) o'clock you would use vers rather than autour? Why?

Hi Tay,
The short answer is no, for times you will use 'vers'.
Il est arrivé vers 15 h = He arrived at around 3 pm
Il a fait son jogging autour du lac ce matin = He did his jogging around the lake this morning.
