Why does tapisser not work here as a translation of wallpaper (verb)?
We'll then wallpaper all the rooms except in the bathroom where there'll be wall tiles, given that room's dampness

Hi Jeuri,
You could use 'tapisser' but as the verb can also mean 'to upholster' it is safer to use -
mettre/poser du papier peint
Hope this helps!
