When I wrote 'préférée' for 'favourite' it was replaced by 'favorite'. Please tell me why.

I have checked the exercise and both 'préférée' and 'favorite' should be accepted as correct answers so please use the Report it button on your correction board as there may be a glitch in the correcting system.
