Alan,
in both cases, this is standard present tense conjugation of the verb ‘ se brosser ‘.
‘ Je me brosse ‘, ‘ tu te brosses’ etc
This is not a case of a direct object preceding a compound tense. There is no past participle to take agreement with the direct object.
