Why do use ez on the end of word which do not have vous in front of them

Why do we put restez and utiliez on the end of words in these to passages. There is no vous in front. I know I've covered this can you remind me.

 Sue,

In this context, restez and utilisez are in present imperative form in 2nd person, formal or plural.

As in English, in French neither the subject pronoun nor a stress pronoun is included in a standard imperative, direction or ‘polite’ command.
