you haven’t included the translation but ‘ essuyer ‘ ( to wipe, in English ) and ‘ essayer ‘ ( to try, in English ) are 2 different verbs, with this lesson relevant to both.
The answer you note given as correct is for the 3rd person plural form of ‘ essuyer ‘ - ‘ they wipe/dry the glasses ‘, with ‘ they ‘ being two or more females.
