Trois sixièmes ou un demiI appreciate that exercise is showing how to write fractions. However, do they actually say "trois sixièmes" instead of "un demi" in everyday life?

The Doll's HouseJe sais que c'est un site d'apprentissage en français, mais "doll house" ne sonne tout simplement pas bien. "Doll house" a probablement ses origines en Amérique. Nous ne dirions jamais "a girl room" au lieu de "a girl’s room". En fait, cela semble pire que leur orthographe "math" et non "maths". L'apostrophe est essentielle, “ the doll’s house”. C'est mon anniversaire dans deux semaines et si vous pouviez remplacer "doll house" par "doll’s house", ce serait le meilleur cadeau d'anniversaire de tour les temps.

Dernière fois queUn quizz demande traduire "C'était la dernière fois que tu m'as dit que tu m'aimais." Il y a deux réponses: 1. ... last time you told me you loved me. 2. ... last time THAT you told me you loved me. To me, those 2 responses have the same meaning in English. The 'that' adds nothing, but neither is it incorrect. Specifically, neither answer disambiguates between "the last (most recent) time" and"the last (ever) time. The word 'that' in English is often just a filler and does not convey additional meaning. Je ne comprends bien encore.
