Il ne mange qu'une moitié du biscuit. He only eats one half of the biscuit.Does this not also means 'he eats only one half of the biscuit'? Or if not, how do you differentiate between these two meanings? Thanks

learning French language or learning how to use a computerSince I am «old school» and did not grow up with computers, I am always curious if the online educational sites are for the purpose of simply getting people to learn to use a computer correctly or if they are for the purpose of learning the subject matter presented. To that goal, is this a user group to learn the French language or to learn the computer usage with the French language as the medium? I hope someone can/will answer this.

Is it a general rule that can is as it were rolled into the subjunctive unless a physical possibility is being discussed?
