Les/desIn a B1 question, "They collect antique cars" was translated as "Ils collectionnent les voitures anciennes". Why not "des voitures"?

Why is this incorrectI put Je suis dix minutes en retard i.e. Être plus en, not Avoir plus de. It was marked wrong. .....?

Ne...pas + le présent + depuis longtempsNous ne sommes pas arrivés depuis longtemps. We have not been here for long. My question is, that since the English translation appears to imply that the action continues into the present, why is the above French sentence in le passé composé and not le présent. Like the examples: Je ne vis pas en France depuis longtemps. I have not lived in France for long. Nous n'habitons pas ici depuis très longtemps. We haven't lived here very long. This is my third attempt to get an answer. The previous answers told me to read the lesson. I have read it many times. What am I missing?

A question on pronunciation of "deux" in different situations.In the video under subject "Ago", in both sentences about the shop "Il y a 2 ans, he pronounces 2 as if it were "douze" (12). I'm not clear on how to distinguish when the last syllable must include the consanent, as in "2 ans".

I may have found a problem....Last week Anthony gave us a box of chocolates. Conjugate "offrir" (to give) in the passé composé. The selections to choose from read as follow....a offert, offrit, offrait and est offert... Where is the correct selection, which I believe is Nous avons offert??? Assistance.... s'il vous plaît Merci

Kwiziq app?How are things going with the Kwiziq app? I know you're busy with implementing Spanish right now, but an app could be useful. When swapped out by the OS, it could retain the user-entered text instead of discarding them like phone-browsers often do when you don't answer all the questions in one go. I make many mistakes in the writing challenges and need to look at other pages and apps to find out why. When I come back to continue, the page reloads and I have to start over.
