Isn’t there a way to imply each/every another way?: je mange une pomme le matin, ou je me promène le soir.
I thought DE followed the negative. In which case(s) is that true?

To my ear the "et" in this sentence sounds like the way I would (try to) pronounce "eux". Is the pronunciation here idiomatic ?
