For those interested (and who couldn't find the word "tramontagne" anywhere), here is a definition for a similarly spelled word that I found : "La tramontane est un vent violent, froid (en température ressentie) et sec en provenance du nord-ouest qui souffle contre les Pyrénées et au sud du Massif central, puis dans le Languedoc et le Roussillon. ... Le terme de « tramontane » vient du latin transmontanus qui signifie « au-delà des monts »". So it's similar to the Mistral wind (also mentioned in the same sentence in the exercise), with the Mistral being maybe a bit more localised and severe.

And 

I spent the day learning  French 

J'ai passe le jour apprendre francais

Would they be correct if not why?

Why was autour de used rather than environ?

text says de Hanoucca, not d'H.......

pourquoi?

Should it not be “Pour cet après-midi” ?

How is this verb conjugated?  There is a phrase in the vocabulary lesson sent out today that contains the phrase:  Je regarde les bourgeons éclore...

This doesn't look like the normal conjugation for a -re verb.  Please advise!  Thank you.

se dépêcher = to hurry up.Tell your friends "Hurry up!": : ___ !

Because the above references "friends" I used the tu form but was marked incorrect with the vous form the correct answer. Why is that? I've been marked correctly on other examples. Am I missing something?

The group à + [people] becomes simply their matching indirect pronoun, as follows:

Don’t certain verbs require a tonic (stress) pronoun after à, rather than the indirect object pronoun before the verb ? 

For example - "Je pense à vous" "Tu dois faire attention à lui"

I thought we need to agree past participle with the number of people... I did, We brushed our hair = Nous nous sommes brossés les cheveux. However, kwizBot said, it was only nearly good, the right answer was: Nous nous sommes brossé les cheveux.
I'm confused, what's my mistake then? Did I misunderstand something?
