A vs one

A vs one

So I translated "un proffeseur" to be "a teacher" and it was incorrect, with it saying I should have translated "one teacher". The accompanying grammar lesson only has information on the indefinite article (which I was using). What's going on?

We should accept the translation of 'un professeur' as both 'one teacher' or 'a teacher' so if this is not the case, please get in touch with the helpdesk as there may be a glitch.

Bonne Continuation!

Bonjour Hayden,

I checked the test question and I cannot see any glitch on my end: both answers ('one teacher' or 'a teacher') are accepted. Could you give us more details please?

Bonne journée !
