I am looking at this sentence - 'j'économise sur les frais d'emballage et autres coûts de transport' - and wondering why 'autres' is preferred over 'd'autres'?

Bonjour Tom,
This is a very interesting question! In this sentence, "les" is present only once in front of "frais d'emballage" but doesn't need to be repeated in front of "autres coûts de transport" and therefore it is "implied". It is a stylistic choice and you can encounter it at this level.

The preposition is sur and also applies to autres co1uts de transport:
J'économise sur les frais d'emballage et (sur) autres coûts de transport
