auxiliary verb?

"...que mise sur les celebrites"

i am not sure if that is some form of 'mettre', or is that the noun "entrust"?

it is possiby an acceptable shortening of a compound verb, without the auxiliary?

merci

Bonjour Jason,

In this sentence, it is the verb 'miser sur quelque chose' which means 'to bet on something' -

...la gestion est confiée au Club Med, qui mise sur les célébrités. Johnny Halliday ...

Hope this makes sense to you now.
