Hi Mary lou,

The demonstrative adjective(s) in French is ce (masculine singular), cet (masculine singular before a vowel or "mute" h), cette (feminine singular), ces plural.

Where it is necessary to differentiate between this or that "-ci" or "-là" is added to the following noun.

eg.    Ce jeune homme -ci,  this young man

         Ces gens-là, those people.

Bonne journée

Jim
